This one's for Mom....and Auntie Sharlene...LOL! Here are the trivets I used for dinner. (Anyone that was present for the 'present' game at Christmas will understand the humour in this one!)
Baruk and I had Friday night to ourselves (thanks to Bubbie and Papa). We decided to hit Mucho Burrito for dinner. SO yummy!! We headed out to see Avatar in digital 3D afterwards. Great movie and I highly recommend seeing it. It was visually stunning. (I'm sure we were two of the last people on earth who hadn't seen it yet. LOL)
Eyal LOVES to play the piano. I thought I'd share a video today instead of a photo. We're quite impressed with how far he has come in only a year and a half of piano lessons.
Today was Family Day. It was also Jacob and Leah's (the boys' friends) birthday party at Mysthaven! The kids enjoyed a Mad Science show and really loved it. What a great way to spend Family Day!
Olympic fever has hit! Last night was (Baruk's B-day) was the opening ceremonies in Vancouver. We all stayed up to watch and loved every minute! Here are the boys modeling their Olympic mitts and my early Valentine's present balloon.
Happy Birthday Baruk! Wow....45 years old. Almost burnt the house down with the candles and sparklers Eyal picked out for the cake (Ari chose the cake).
Goofball Ari posing for the camera. It was movie night at Moraine Hills P.S. ~ Eyal's school. The boys and I saw Hotel for Dogs, ate a ton of pizza and popcorn and had an amazing night!
Ari's latest obsession is the movie The Cat in the Hat with Mike Myers. He loves it. Well, we all do. I've been getting a kick out of trying to explain that Cat is also Shrek (well, his voice anyway). Oh, and that Cat and Shrek also went to mommy and Uncle Keith's high school. LOL!
So, I decided to begin a blog to document the year 2010 one day at a time, one photo at a time. I got slightly sidetracked (understatement) but I'm back! It's an idea I can't take credit for but am very excited I stumbled upon. (Thanks to my TB ladies!)
Enjoy!
